Combustion equipment designed for metals industry

Albatch

Albatch burners for the metals industry are developed for non-ferrous melting and heavy industrial processes. The burners can be equipped with air or water cooling, using gas or liquid fuels. All Albatch burners have internal pilot burner and flame monitoring to ensure safe operations. Burner sizes are from 0.5MW to 3MW.

Our team of experts and engineers creates optimized solutions using Albatch burner(s) according to the sizes and locations of process requirements and customer needs.

Air Liquide application engineers use Air Liquide heat/mass balance tools to evaluate the energy needs and offgas flow(s). The burners are made with stainless steel, using a modular design matrix to ensure that Air Liquide meets the requirement for ease of maintenance and total cost of operations. For heating and/or melting reverberatory furnaces, an Albatch FC burner (FlatCoverage) has been developed to optimize energy transfer to molten metal.

Flamoxal

Flamoxal valve trains are especially designed for China market. They are used in non-ferrous and heavy industries, designed and developed for ease of operations and maintenance. The equipment is assembled by putting the standard parts onto a frame. These common parts which can be used for both oxygen and natural gas are locally available, reducing the spare parts requirement. Flamoxal valve train is able to operate burners sized from 0.5MW to 3MW.

Our experts and engineers create optimized solutions using flow analyzes tools. They can adapt the design for any inlet pressure and burner size by changing the component size.  The system can be expanded for multiple burner applications. The combustion is controlled by a computer with dual languages for operation monitoring.

Air Liquide application engineers use Air Liquide heat/mass/flow balancing tools to evaluate the energy needs and Flamoxal requirements. All the components on the Flamoxal valve train are stainless steel and/or copper for rust free operations. All parts require very little maintenance.  Heavy fuel oil valve train are available upon request.

Oxynator

Oxynator design allows fast mixing and quick homogeneous distribution of oxygen molecules inside the combustion air, bringing a safer and more efficient operation.

Our team of experts and engineers optimize the Oxynator dimensions based on actual conditions. We identify the lhe location of the Oxynator according to safety and process requirements.

Air Liquide application engineers use Air Liquide flow analyzes tools to optimize the mixing base on air velocity inside the duct. The Oxynator is made with stainless steel and only requires cleaning once a year. Special alloys could be used for high temperature applications.
